The IRIS Room is beautifully decorated in blues, burgundy & touches of pink. It has a wonderful KING size bed, reading/sitting area with three chairs & an ottoman, a beautiful bay window, working gas fireplace & ceiling fan. A private hall bath/shower along with wonderful robes, slippers & luxurious amenities for your comfort! Upscale Current Magazines for your reading peasure. The Iris room can be reserved as a room or as a suite with a lovely adjoining room that has a full size antique bed.

The Lilac Room
 Lilac Room - Colonel Taylor Inn Bed and Breakfast

The LILAC Room is down a private hall and is decorated in a gorgeous floral wallpaper that includes lilacs. It is green, pink, lavender & touches of yellow. There is a lovely sitting/reading area along with upscale current magazines for your reading pleasure. A large bay window, a beautifully carved queen size four poster bed, a working gas fireplace & ceiling fan. Private bath that has a shower only. Then there are wonderful robes, slippers & luxurious amenities for your comfort. This is the only room with cable TV.

The Rose Room

 Newly renovated the ROSE Room is the largest room decorated in a gorgeous rose wallpaper with a black background for a stunning effect. A comfortable sitting/reading area with a sofa and wing back chair in front of three large windows looking out on the grounds. Current stylish magazines for your reading pleasure. A large beautifully carved queen size four poster bed, a desk, a working gas fireplace & ceiling fan. There is a large bathroom (enter from the rose room) with original glass tiles - it has a whirlpool tub, a gas fireplace, robes & slippers for your comfort along with luxurious amenities & extra toweling.

 The MAGNOLIA Room is a lovely room down a private hall with two large original period windows. It has a beautiful dark mahogany queen-size four poster bed, a sitting/reading area with three comfortable chairs, a working gas fireplace & ceiling fan, private bath/shower, robes & slippers for your comfort along with luxurious amenities. It is decorated in a lovely floral wallpaper with a magnolia garland over the bed. There are several current magazines for your reading pleasure or join us in the family room parlor to watch the big screen TV...

Reservation Information

  • Our busy season is between April and December, so try to make your reservations early.   The Colonel Taylor Inn Bed & Breakfast is open year round.
  • GIFT CERTIFICATES are always available for that special gift…
  • Reservations are guaranteed by credit card at the time your reservation is made. AAA, Military & senior discounts Sunday thru Thursday 10%
  • One-night minimums except Thanksgiving and Christmas, when there is a two-night minimum stay.
  • Check in time 3PM till ??  - Check out time 11AM.
  • Room rates are $135 - $145 double occupancy; Suite rates are $155 - $195.   Rates depend on room choice, date and number of guests.
  • GROUPS:   Rent the Inn for Corporate retreats, family dinners, reunion gatherings, elopements, small weddings of 30 or less, Tour bus dinners 60 or less, Red Hatter teas and other group events…
  • CANCELLATIONS : If cancellation is received 15 days or more prior to your reservation, you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.   If cancellation is received 14 days or less prior to arrival, you will be charged for your entire reservation unless it can be rebooked. If rebooked, you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.
  • Included in you rate:
  • A wonderful five-course breakfast.

    From I-70, Exit 178. Travel North on State Route 209 into town. Right on Wheeling Ave. at the Courthouse. Left onto North 10th; left onto Sherman; left onto North 7th St; right onto Upland Rd. We are the third driveway on the right.

     From I-77, take State Route 22 or 40 into town; turn right onto North 10th St., left onto Sherman, left onto North 7th St., right onto Upland Rd. We are the third driveway on the right.

The National Road,  Route 40, goes through downtown Cambridge, Ohio
